There is a range of devices and chemicals on the market that their manufacturers claim treat water and prevent microirrigation clogging. It is not the purpose of this website to discuss these products, but a word of caution to prospective purchasers is warranted. Be very careful before you buy. Ask for reputable studies that show side-by-side comparisons of treated and untreated waters. Studies that are proposed, underway, or have not been done and so-called "studies" that in fact are nothing more than testimonials, cannot be relied upon for objective, reliable information about the product.
